Folio, 405x270mm. French language. Two complete short extracts c1765 on nail, tack and pin making from Diderot & d'Alembert's Encyclopedia. Each extract with two plates on which technical figures and one scene of forge or workshop activity, and single leaf of explanatory text. Fore-edges a little nicked and/or lightly dust-marked and/or furled. Plate II of Cloutier d'�pingles detached; margins outside of plate mark chipped and creased at upper- & fore-edges, with loss at upper outer corner, with jagged closed tear at upper inner corner, and with light soiling towards inner edge. No binding. Overall condition reasonably GOOD. Seller Inventory # 27236
