Original hand coloured aquatint from the book by Charles Hamilton Smith on Ancient British Costumes. Colouring all original, on laid paper with good plate marks, has a harp in the titles dated Anno 940. Published March 1st 1813. Measures Folio; 15 x 11 inches (33 x 29 cm approx) All genuine. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
