Michael Renton pencil drawing in colour of trees. Signed and dated 4 June 1980 in pencil by the artist in lower right corner. The artist had got this piece framed so he must have been pleased with it. But the edges of the sheet of paper has been stuck onto the lower board by the framer and the two mounts attached on top. This piece would benefit from a different colour mount/ mat. The watercolor is sandwiched between two pieces of card. We think the two card window mounts/ mats will come off easily but the drawing will be difficult to remove from the board underneath. Still a very nice drawing by Renton. Size of image 34 x 45cm (14 x 24 inches) approx.
