MAUD F SHARP (English) c1930's Pencil signed etching ; an English Street Scene showing women and a child outside a building clothing style looks Art Deco period. Artwork is Matted. visible print image (plate) 9 x 5 3/8 ins ; overall sheet 14 x 9 3/8 ins ; overall matt approx 17 1/4 x 12 ins. Maud Sharp was an English artist who exhibited between 1931 and 1940 concentrating mainly on English scenes, but also included work completed whilst visiting India . She was skilled as a water colourist and as an etcher, with examples of her work listed in past auction house sales. She lived in Bickley near Bromley and latterly at Chiselhurst in Kent.
