Great Ideas, portfolio #1 of 6; June, 1950-June,1954. 52 14" x 11" frame able posters on heavy stock. A part of the long running series (eventually 186 such posters) issued by Container Corporation of America from 1950 to 1967. The 52 well-designed posters in this first portfolio use the words of well-known historical figures and great thinkers-- Washington, John Ruskin, Freud, Franklin, Pascal, Kant, many others--with illustrations done by noted artists. The posters are in two stiff paper slipcases which are held in their original heavy cardboard mailer. The posters are undamaged--no writing, no stains, no type of paper damage, and because of the nature of the paper stock, no toning. Seller Inventory # BMR-2023-1-7-1
