Lithographed by George Franklin Cram (Cartographer) for Pictorial atlas of the greater United States and the world 1902 .This image shows a detailed vintage map of the state of Iowa in the United States. The map is color-coded by county, with each county clearly labeled and delineated. It includes a comprehensive network of railroads, represented by black lines crisscrossing the state, as well as numerous cities, towns, and geographical features such as rivers. The map is bordered by a scale of longitude at the top and bottom, and letters A through L on the sides for reference purposes. A small scale indicator is present in the upper right corner. The title "IOWA" is prominently displayed in the northeast corner of the map. The level of detail suggests this was likely used for administrative, educational, or commercial purposes, providing a thorough overview of Iowa's geography, infrastructure, and political divisions at the time of its creation. From a historical atlas due to its style and labeling conventions.CONDITION: This is a Single Page Map with a Single page Map on the back. Clear and sharp with beautiful detail. Aged Appropriately. As scanned. NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU PURCHASE: This is a GENUINE ANTIQUE VINTAGE MAP. It is NOT a modern reproduction, ie. a laser scan, photocopy, etc. It is the original from the antique or vintage atlas or book publication. This map was published on the date mentioned, or circa the date mentioned at the top of the page. The map I have for sale, like many antique vintage prints and maps that you see online, originate from an antique vintage book or atlas publication. The publication may not always be known.
