Materia: Grabado antiguo del siglo XVII. Pintores Holandeses. Manierismo - Hendrick Goltzius y Jacob Matham. Publicación: 1589. Técnica: 1 estampa. Grabado calcográfico. Medidas: 26 x 20 cm [papel], 40 x 40 cm [passepartout]. Descripción visual: La Samaritana recoge agua del pozo y se la ofrece a Jesús. Primer estado (anterior a la inscripción CI Visscher excu). Grabado por Jacob Matham posterior a Goltzius. Inscripción en la parte inferior: "HGoltzius excud[it]. Aº 1589". Dos versos en latín al pie del grabado firmados "F. Estius, Poscit aquam .necis". Conservación: Márgenes cortos al borde de la huella del grabado y rotura lado inferior izquierdo en la parte posterior y media de la figura de Jesucristo. Procedencia: Grabado perteneciente a la colección de arte de Gaspar de Haro y Guzmán, VII marqués del Carpio y de Eliche (1629 - 1687), noble, diplomático y político español. Era hijo del también coleccionista Luis de Haro y de él heredó un gran repertorio de pinturas que fue ampliando progresivamente con obras de gran calidad.
