Stamped Importe d.Autriche on verso. A very large Antique Austrian card, a Jewish Greetings Card for Rosh Hashana. A pop-up die cut chrome-lithographed scene depicting a Jewish wedding ceremony beneath a chuppah surrounded by a floral arch of of for-get-me- nots and roses in a garden, heightened with gold and with red red interlocking crepe paper, floral label with Hebrew text "Leshana Tova Tikateivu" and "Bonne année" on base which folds flat, Fabulous piece of paper engineering and still in excellent condition. It must have been very expensive to purchase at the time. In excellent condition and now protected within a thick Japanese paper sleeve with the title reproduced on a label attached to the cover. Size 30 x 24 x 10 cm [12 x 10x 4inches].
