1902, thin buff card (255 x 195 mm, 10 x 7¾ inches) with almost full page coloured illustration from page 63 of THE PIED PIPER OF HAMELIN. On verso is a full page coloured illustration showing 2 young women with toddlers in the centre and 20 other children in a continuous procession around them, the circle of children is the same design as that on the cover of Under the Window. Card slightly darkened, unused and 1 corner slightly scuffed and slightly chipped. The date 1902 is printed on the verso under the illustration. This is the 'loose insert' described in Schuster 468,1a which served as a receipt for those returning subscriptions to the Fund. MORE IMAGES ATTACHED TO THIS LISTING, ALL ZOOMABLE.
