Clear and sharp with beautiful detail. Aged Appropriately. As scanned.This map depicts Northwest Africa, focusing on Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, also referred to as the "Barbary States." The map outlines the territorial boundaries of these regions, with Morocco in red, Algeria in yellow, and Tunisia in pink. To the north, the Mediterranean Sea and the southern regions of Europe (including Spain and Portugal) are visible. The Atlantic Ocean is located to the west of Morocco, while the Sahara Desert is shown to the south, encompassing a vast, largely empty area labeled as "Sahara." The map highlights major cities such as Fez, Tangier, Marrakesh, Algiers, Tunis, and Oran, and includes some geographical features like mountain ranges, rivers, and trade routes, which are faintly marked.
