Engraving of woodland scene with ducks on small river. Hand-colored. Framed under glass. Signed in pencil by the artist. Image measures 4 by 6 inches and 8 by 10 including outer border. A nice pastoral scene by Veronica Ruzicka (1917-1981) a noted book illustrator, and designer of decorative endpapers. She was the daughter of the printmaker, illustrator and typographer, Rudolph Ruzicka. The engraving is in very good condition with some soiling to the outer blank border. The frame is lightly worn with some tearing to the brown paper on the reverse side.
