Karel Dujardin (Dutch, 1622 - 1678) aquatint etching on paper and atatched to backing paper; Paysage avec des Chevres (Landscape with Goats) hand colored on paper, signed upper right in plate "K DV Jardin" pencil signature and title below artwork on backing paper probably not original. artwork measures approx 6 1/3 x 7 3/4 ins.overall approx 12 1/2 x 14 1/2 ins. Karel Dujardin was a Dutch Golden Age painter and printer. Although he did a few portraits and a few history paintings of religious subjects, most of his work is small Italianate landscape scenes with animals and peasants, and other genre scenes.
