This is the publicity poster sent out by the publisher to bookstores to promote the Isabel Allende novel, "Eva Luna", published in the UK in March 1989 - only her third novel. The lovely image, used on the dust jacket of the Hamish Hamilton book, is a detail from Delacroix's painting "The Death of Sardanapalus" which hangs in the Louvre. The poster itself measures 21.5" x 15.25". It is framed and behind glass. Overall size of the frame is 25.75" x 19.75". The poster is in fine condition. I can spot just one faint, hardly noticeable scratch on the bottom edge. The frame looks new. I've tried to avoid the reflection and glare in the attached photographs, but it's hard, taking pictures of something behind glass! Obviously, the default shipping cost won't cover this.
