A renowned French writer, illustrator, caricaturist, decorator, painter, ironworker, landscape artist, and lithographer, Bac moved to Paris to embrace a studious yet bohemian life after the collapse of the regime. Introduced into society by Arsène Houssaye and Prince Napoleon, he became a fashionable artist and prominent illustrator, celebrated for his contributions to magazines such as "La Caricature" and "La Vie Parisienne". Bac designed notable gardens, including those at the Villa Croisset and Domaine des Colombières, where he lived and worked, remaining active in artistic and intellectual circles until his death. || Ferdinand-Sigismond Bach, auch bekannt als Ferdinand Bac, wurde am 15.
