Item description from seller

This signed and numbered elephant folio is markedly untraditional and very uncommon--number 37 of 250 numbered sets. (Twelve additional examples were reserved for the artist and his collaborators.) Each of the sets is signed by the artist. Each of the 12 prints is handprinted on full rag paper and ranges in tone from philosophical to mildly humorous to downright bawdy. Similar in style to Leonard Baskin and Barry Moser, the works exhibit ribaldry and earthiness of Chasidic rabbis through the eyes of the artist. This elephant folio is housed in a Fine condition blue and tan cloth portfolio in a Very Good+ blue cloth slipcase. Prints are as close to As-New as one can get. Oversized, additional postage will be required.
