SHOWS :Mimosa pudica, commonly known as the sensitive plant, exhibits a unique leaf-folding response when touched. Campanula patula, the spreading bellflower, graces gardens with its charming flowers. Aretia glacialis, a mountain plant, thrives in cold regions. The saffron crocus (Crocus sativus) produces the valuable spice saffron. In aquatic habitats, you ll find the curly pondweed (Potamogeton crispus). The compass plant (Silphium laciniatum) boasts deeply lobed leaves. The mango tree (Mangifera indica) is renowned for its delicious fruit. Among thorny shrubs, Colletia cruciata stands out. The sacred fig tree (Ficus religiosa) holds spiritual significance. Verbascum phlomoides, the mullein plant, flaunts tall spikes of yellow flowers. In alpine regions, the edelweiss flower (Gnaphalium leontopodium) thrives. Lastly, Carlin acaulis is a stemless carline thistle, and the globeflower (Trollius europaeus) graces Europe s landscapes.
