Original lithographed poster with printed signature. 58 x 41 cm, in very good condition. Ryszard Otreba was born in Suszec, Poland in 1932. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kracow in the years 1953-59 and at the Pratt Institute in New York in the years 1966-67. He has been teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kracow since 1961 and is now Head of the Chair of Visual Communication. Practises graphic art and graphic design, industrial design, theoretical research in the field of visual communication. Has had thirteen one-man shows, participated in a number of exhibitions of Polish art abroad and in international reviews, e. g. in the International Print Biennales in Kracow and Bradford, in the XYLON exhibitons, in the International Biennale of Graphic Art in Ljubljana, in the Triennale of Drawing in Wroctaw, in the Joan Miró Joan Exhibitions of Drawing.
