13 original lithographic plates, measuring approx. 13 x 9.5 inches, of California fishes. Prepared during the 1850s-1860s for the U.S. Pacific Rail Road Surveys, these plates were left over, and were never bound. The paper is uniformly age-toned, with no foxing or stains. One margin has a small tear (see photo), otherwise these are clean and as originally printed. Seller Inventory # 11878
