Published May 20th 1789 this beautiful and dark early strike mezzotint engraved and published by John Jones after Sir George Romney. some light stains and age spotting to lower left not seen on the print, noticed in the border area. Measures. 22 x 15 inches edge to edge and 17.5 x 13 inches image. (43 x 32 cm). **Historical NOTE William Pitt, the Younger (28 May 1759 ? 23 January 1806) was a British politician of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. He became the youngest Prime Minister in 1783 at the age of 24. Prime Minister twice. Seller Inventory # 8383

We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
