About this Item
Signed limited edition print, c1987. Lewis Todd was 'famous' for having painted on the reverse of Francis Bacon's discarded canvasses, many sold in the 1950's for a few pounds on Cambridge Market. These fragments of Bacon's works (Todd cut the large canvasses into more manageable sizes) have subsequently sold for considerable more! Image size 19 x 23.5cm, mounted and framed.
