Shop display sign. "ON SALE HERE~Weekly Sentinel~The Best Agricultural County Pictorial Paper~Fridays~16 Large Pages~2d. Card sign with metal eyelets and hanging string. Not sure of the age of the sign, but possibly 19th or early 20th century and possibly produced connected to the Staffordshire Sentinel newspaper. Measures 24 x 31 cm (roughly 9 3/4 x 12 inches). Edges worn with few tears and few areas of loss (edges a little brittle).
