Late eighteenth century Signed "de la Rue Sc" at lower right. Possibly by F.R. Delarue French (1751-? ) after a work by J.M. Moreau le Jeune (the Younger). Plate Mark: 4 1/8" wide x 6 5/8" tall. Paper size 4 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" tall - laid paper. 1/16" at edge attached to another sheet. Illustration originally appeared in Philosophical and political history of the establishments and trade of Europeans in the two Indies, written by Guillaume Thomas Raynal published by Jean-Léonard Pellet in Geneva in 1780. Back of paper is visible. Matted with paper 11 1/2" wide x 16 1/2" tall overall. Excellent condition. Seller Inventory # 020996
