Add to basketThe plates are for Lucy Birks (Peake 492), George H. Harris (Peake 2378), and Norman McDougall (Peake 3560). External dimensions 132 × 106 mm, 108 × 61 mm, and 115 × 95 mm, respectively; the Birks plate has two light corner creases; the Harris plate has a few tiny marks; overall, in excellent condition. London-born Frederick Christian Britton (1889-1931) arrived in South Australia in 1910. He was an artist and arts educator, not least the first principal of the Adelaide School of Arts. Provenance: H.B. (Harry) Muir (1909-1992), bookseller, publisher and bookplate collector; by descent. [3 items].
