Item description from seller

Original Blueprint Block Diagram of the Control Center of the UNIVAC I the Supervisory Control Panel. The First Commercially Available Digital Computer. [++] (Titled Blueprint) Supervisory Control Panel for UNIVAC #1. 18x24 inches. Printed in brown(ish) ink on off-white paper. Undated, ca. 1950-1952. Condition: the blueprint has eight old folds from when it was original quarter-folded years ago. There is some yellowing along the fold lines and along the edges of the document. There is a short, 1.5" tear at the left -middle edge of the sheet. In general: Very Good condition. [++] The blueprint shows the entire schematic for the supervisory control panel (SCP) of the UNIVAC I (Universal Automatic Computer, manufactured by the Eckert-Mauchly Division of SperryRand Corporation via Remington Rand Inc, UNIVAC Division,)--a unit which in effect controlled the entire computer (which was an assembly of units some of which could be operated independently of the SCP), and which was the primary interface for the operators of the computer. [++] "The UNIVAC I was the first general-purpose electronic digital computer design for business application produced in the United States. It was designed principally by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly, the inventors of the ENIAC. Design work was started by their company, Eckert Mauchly Computer Corporation (EMCC), and was completed after the company had been acquired by Remington Rand (which later became part of Sperry, now Unisys). In the years before successor models of the UNIVAC I appeared, the machine was simply known as "the UNIVAC". The first UNIVAC was accepted by the United States Census Bureau on March 31, 1951, and was dedicated on June 14 that year."--nice concise description via Wikipedia. **NOTE: the photo of the UNIVAC I system (source: Wikipedia) shows a part of the computer and features the SCP console at left operated by a man seated in a wheeled chair.…
