About this Item

Original wrappers, slightly tanned and with a faint crease in the spine. A near-fine copy, the text paper, as always, is slightly browned at the edges. One of 2500 copies printed in September 1952 (there were only 30 deluxe). With the scarce wraparound band announcing this title as the "livre du mois" for the month of February, 1953, of the Societé des Lecteurs, quoting Audiberti's review in "Arts," ("Un ouvrage parfait qui mérite un triomphe").
