Dan Shafer

Dan Shafer is a spiritual coach, teacher, author and lecturer known for his crystal-clear explanations of deep spiritual subjects and his powerful meditations. His most recent book, "The Power of I AM: Claiming your inherent power to consciously create a life of purpose, meaning and joy", explains that how we finish the sentence "I AM…" largely determines what we attract or create in our lives. The book also teaches a new approach to meditation that Dan developed over a decade. This affirmation-based technique is designed to help seekers who have had difficulty in the past learning to meditate or who are seasoned meditators looking for a deeply fresh experience.

Dan, an ordained Interfaith minister, presently serves as the volunteer Spiritual Teacher in Residence at Unity of Monterey Bay on California's Central Coast.
