Dwight Holing is the award-winning author of twenty books, including two popular mystery series: the bestselling Nick Drake Novels and the Jack McCoul Capers. He is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Western Writers of America and Sisters in Crime.

His Nick Drake mysteries have won multiple awards, including two back-to-back top honors for Best Western at Killer Nashville (The Silver Falchion Award), the CIBA Clue Grand Prize for Best Thriller/Suspense, the Laramie Award for Best Americana, the IPPY Gold Medal for Best Suspense & Thriller, and the IBPA Silver Medal for Best Mystery & Thriller.
