Jeffry Dwight

Jeffry Dwight is an author, editor, musician, pencil artist, poet, programmer, and father of two sons. He was born in Illinois, and currently lives in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. In 2014, he received the Kevin O’Donnell, Jr. Service to SFWA Award from the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America. Of himself, Dwight says, “I hate writing, but love having written.”

In addition to fiction, Dwight authored or co-authored multiple textbooks on programming and Internet technologies, as well as writing several articles for technical journals. Before that, he worked in social services among developmentally disabled and abused/neglected children and adults. All of these experiences inform his storytelling.

Dwight is a self-taught singer-songwriter who plays keyboards, guitars, drums, and several other instruments. His style covers ballads, jazz, and 70’s soft rock.
