Rick Koster

Rick Koster's first novel, POPPIN' A COLD ONE, a comic crime story set on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, will be published in Dec. 2012 by Kensington Books. His previous books include the whimsical nonfiction histories LOUISIANA MUSIC and TEXAS MUSIC.

Rick lives in New London, CT, with his wife, Eileen Jenkins, and their Catahoula Leopard Dog, Gumbo. He writes for The Day newspaper, enjoys cheap beer and beef jerky, and exults over the triumphs of the New Orleans Saints and the Boston Red Sox.
