I am a former Missouri farm boy. I've traveled extensively on 4 continents, have friends in many languages, love adventure and excitement. I like writing books so I can share the knowledge and experience I've gained with the many false starts and wrong turns I've made. My hobbies are adventure paddling, travel, learning Spanish, gourmet cooking, meeting new friends and writing great stories. I've written about organic agriculture, sustainable house building, international dating and now I'm writing a canoe and kayak guide to the James River in Virginia.
