Sylvia Nobel

Sylvia Nobel authors the intriguing Kendall O'Dell mystery series, featuring a Philadelphia transplant hoping to cure her asthma and start a new life as an investigative reporter in the small town of Castle Valley, AZ. All six of Sylvia's novels are based on actual events from local newspaper articles, many unsolved crimes. Set in the beautiful scenery of Arizona, from super heated exotic cactus laced deserts to snowy forested mountaintops, the state plays a constant character in her stories, worthy of tourism bureau note. It's obvious Sylvia loves the state where she was raised. She was born in Pennsylvania, just like her heroine. As a child the family moved to Cave Creek, a small desert community north of Phoenix.

Sylvia is a member of Mystery Writers of America. Her fast-paced, suspenseful novels are enjoyed by fans of all ages worldwide. She is also a frequent speaker at book clubs, conventions and women's groups. Her talk on the "Fascination of the Whodunit" is a hit with audiences everywhere.

Mother of two and grandmother of three, Sylvia lives in Phoenix with her husband Jerry and seven cats. Forever a cat lover, she volunteers weekly for Halo, an animal rescue organization. She also enjoys her mountain home in Prescott, Arizona, where year round temperatures stay 20 degrees cooler than the Valley of the Sun.

Sylvia helped produce a feature film based on the first book in her mystery series, Deadly Sanctuary, a million plus seller! It is available on DVD through major retailers, streaming online and ON DEMAND. The film stars Dean Cain, Eric Roberts and Daniel Baldwin. Rebekah Kochan plays feisty reporter Kendall O'Dell, who like her creator, has flaming curly red hair! Sylvia's third book, Dark Moon Crossing has recently hit number one e-book download on Amazon.

Sylvia maintains an active Fan Club Newletter and social media presence. Her novels are available in print, e-book and audio. Adventure #7 is in the works now.
