I've worked in the design business for 30 years, and taught at a business school for 7 years, and I love writing about what I do. I try in my books to be clear, unpretentious and easy for anyone to understand. And I also try to be a little ahead of the time. My DTP book heralded what's now normal - that we all create things on screen, we all use typefaces, we're all designers. The Big Idea talked about the importance in business of a sense of purpose - something that's now commonplace. I'm just finishing my next book for Oxford University Press.
