Ken Giuffre M.D, Anesthesiologist, Inventor, Writer, co-founder of the non-profit educational foundation Dopadoc Parkinson's International. Curator, Sciences Division, Badmango Partners LLC.
"Care and Feeding of Your Brain" is now over 25 years out of date. Hope to update it, but do not buy current edition(s), I'm not selling them and they are outdated.
Giuffre received a BS Biology/Art from Georgetown, an MD from Johns Hopkins and completed a residency in anesthesiology/critical-care at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital.
He was a Research Fellow at the NIH where he studied endocrinology of surgical stress, then did work on brain blood flow. He has received DARPA funding for patents he developed in medical/brain monitoring, and has contributed to other areas since including neural network medical data analysis, OR patient safety, fentanyl safety and delivery methods IOT parallel processing of real-time critical care data, and cardiovascular physiology in microgravity environments.
He loves ice hockey, painting and is a long time math/prime-number geek who every once in a while thinks that he has solved the Riemann hypothesis. He has volunteered his time educating residents of developing countries on methods to prevent rural water-related mosquito-borne illness initiated through Rand Corp then as a nonprofit NGO.
