Born in The City That Never Sleeps in the exact middle of the 20th Century. Had a watch that always ran 3 hours slow, so moved to LA. Authored a slew (slew=10)of silly little humor books. Live with my family in the cultural center of LA--the beach. Plus a million minor details.

I wanted to be a juggler when I grew up, but my family never owned 3 of anything. As a kid I was made to walk the plank. We couldn't afford a dog. When I told everyone I wanted to be a humor writer, they all laughed. Well, they're not laughing now!!
