Brent Kroetch is the author of numerous works, including murder mysteries The Delaney Escape and Murder-In-Law and a satiric novel about the CIA, Success Is No Substitute for a Bungled Life. He has previously taught college courses, served in government, and engaged in private industry. Under the stage name Brett Williams, he has released original songs as well as songs that have been written by other artists, including Jessica Rogers, Red Hawk, and Eric Kurtz. He is the recipient of two Telly Awards for music videos. Brent's murder mystery series features Ham McCalister and his partner, Drew Thorntonformer, Las Vegas PD homicide detectives turned private eyes. In addition to The Ghost of Truckee River and When the Music Fades to Murder the Singer Must Die, Brent is currently working on the next Ham and Drew adventure, The Biggest Little Crime in the World, set in Reno, Nevada, the Biggest Little City in the World.
