Beth Amos

Beth Amos is the USA Today bestselling author of two mystery series published by Kensington Books, and three stand-alone suspense novels published by HarperCollins. Her mystery series include the Mattie Winston books (Working Stiff, Scared Stiff, Frozen Stiff, Lucky Stiff, Board Stiff, Stiff Penalty, & Stiff Competition) written under the pseudonym Annelise Ryan, and the Mack's Bar books (Murder on the Rocks, Murder with a Twist, In The Drink, & Shots in the Dark) written under the pseudonym Allyson K. Abbott. Her suspense novels include Cold White Fury, Eyes of Night, and Second Sight (HarperCollins) and two self-published novels of suspense: Nick of Time and Face of Death. She spent 4 years as a contributing editor for Barnes&Noble.com and is an active member of Mystery Writers of America and International Thriller Writers, Inc.

Amos is an RN whose past work experience has included everything from birth (obstetrics) to death (hospice). She currently works in an ER and lives in Wisconsin.
