Michael Sincere (www.michaelsincere) is a freelance writer and author of a number of investment and trading books, including two bestsellers: "Understanding Stocks" (McGraw Hill) and "Understanding Options" (McGraw Hill), which sold 100,000 copies each.

His most recent books are "Help Your Child Build Wealth" (Wiley) and "How to Sell Covered Calls."

Sincere is also a financial columnist for MarketWatch. He has been interviewed on dozens of national radio programs and has appeared on several financial news programs such as CNBC and ABC's "World News Now" to talk about his books.

His goal is to write understandable and entertaining books that educate readers of all ages.

When Sincere is not writing financial articles, he is spending time with his family, riding one of his e-bikes, or traveling. Although he loves dogs, Sincere has an indoor-outdoor cat, Lizzie, who he rescued in 2022.
