My LATEST BOOK, My Mother Was A Spaceship, is the most important book I will ever write. Kirkus, the toughest book reviewer in the country, says,"Historical significant collection of first-hand birthing experiences," and gives voice to how women went into our hospital looking for safe childbirth and are mistreated and even tortured.

Born in Georgia to sharecroppers, and after raising a family, I went to college graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina. I was a Nurse Midwife and owned a massage facility. I wrote the first book ever on the market about massage and how it affects pregnancy, Massage During Pregnancy, now out in its Fourth Edition and is a Home Study program for massage therapists. This first book, Massage During Pregnancy, was published in 1995 by someone who failed to pay me royalties. He would hang up the phone on me. So, I fired him and began my own publishing company. Since that time I have published 32 books and written twelve.

Today, I live in the high desert of a small town in New Mexico 30 miles from the USA and Mexico border. As the Executive Director of Performing Arts Foundation of Luna County, I wrote and performed a monologue adapted from my latest book My Mother Was A Spaceship.

At the present I just finished reading my first book on my new Kindle, Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander, M.D. Most of my books are in the process of formatting for Kindle reading. Yes, I have reluctantly moved into the 21st Century. I adore the Kindle.
