Trezza Azzopardi

Trezza Azzopardi was born in Cardiff to Welsh and Maltese parents. Her first novel, The Hiding Place, was shortlisted for The Booker Prize and won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize. It has been translated into over thirty languages. Three further novels, Remember Me, (shortlisted for the Wales Book of the Year), Winterton Blue (A New York Times 'Best Book Since 2000',) and The Song House, (serialised on BBC Radio 4) were followed by a novella, The Tip of My Tongue, which was one of the modern interpretations of the renowned Mabinogion series published by Seren. Azzopardi writes short fiction and occasional pieces for radio, and is currently working on her fifth book. She lives and works in Norwich.
