Joris John Heise

Born in Michigan in 1936, Joris Heise experienced a loving family, many years of diverse schooling, and a long, rewarding career of teaching and learning from young people, especially those mentally and physically challenged. In his older, retired years, he has been writing about the loves, knowledge and morality with which his time on earth has blessed him. Married to Rosemary, he has found in her a strength and peace rare in this world, and his ambition is to share it with a world which seems to need it. A devout man, Joris hopes for a future shaped by principles of equality, mutual care and continuous growing up--principles emphasized by Jesus of Nazareth in the Gospels and history.
