Joe David

Joe David is the author of six books. Three of them -- The Infidels, Teacher of the Year, The Fire Within -- are available as eBooks. Both Teacher of the Year and The Fire Within are powerful examinations of important concerns in education. For two years, The Fire Within was on the reading list at American University. It has also received national public attention. For about nine years in the 1980s, Mr. David was a frequent radio and television talk show guest in major U.S. cities, where, as a former educator of 14 years, he candidly discussed issues in education.

Over the years, he has written for professional journals, newspapers, magazines, and newsletters, including the Annenberg/CPB Math and Science Project, Education, The Forum (University of West Florida), Hemispheres, Chile Pepper, U.S. Airways, Basic Education (Council for Basic Education), Christian Science Monitor, Chicago Tribune, and much more. His latest book, The Infidels, is a moving story about the 1915 genocide in the Middle East, initiated by Turkey. His other book, Gourmet Getaways, examines cooking school programs in the US, covering costs, philosophy, leading chefs, and much more.
