Robin Prince Monroe

Robin has been writing for as long as she can remember. When she was nine she received her first rejection for publication from a kind editor who told her to, “Keep writing”, and she did.

She delights in writing for children; and has authored nine picture books, a middle grade novel, and a chapter book. Her work has also appeared in Guideposts, Money Matters, and Special Education Today. Currently working on some pieces for “big” people, she is having fun writing short stories, poetry, a novella, and her memoir.

She is the mother of three children, all grown up and making her proud. And a little girl in Heaven, waiting there to show her around.

She lives in the beautiful Lowcountry of South Carolina with her husband, Merlin, and a little Silky named Ripley. When she's not in her studio writing or painting you will find her outside biking, swimming, enjoying sunsets, and the beautiful birds that frequent her feeders.

"I believe that we are all born creative. My passion is to keep that creativity alive in me, and to encourage it in those around me, especially the children. My work varies from poetry to picture books, acrylics to photography, and serious to silly. It reveals snippets of all the learning adventures I have been blessed to have, and reflects my life’s goal; to make God smile."
