Donna Beasley

Donna Renee Beasley is the author of the the children’s books, My Mama is Flying That Plane, Blaze Barton's First Cattle Drive, Music In The Family, Kason’s Kite and Mystery at Zig Zag Zoo. I am also publishing a middle-grade serial story on the new Kindle Vella platform. The story title is, Annabelle Locke and the Forgotten Professor. My non-fiction books include, Family Pride, the Complete Guide to Tracing African American Genealogy and The Family Reunion Planner.

I am currently revising my first middle-grade adventure novel. For me, revising is tougher than writing the first draft and not as much fun as letting my imagination go wild. But revision is necessary to create a quality book. When I'm not writing you can find me hitting the ski slopes in winter, indulging my passion for photography or playing “way too much” Candy Crush on my phone.
