Richard Cooke is a multi-award-winning journalist and author whose work has appeared in the Washington Post, New York Times, Guardian, Paris Review, and Wired. The former US correspondent to The Monthly magazine, Australia’s premier journal of reportage, he mostly lives in Sydney.
