Jack Newman

Dr Jack Newman, MD, FRCPC, IBCLC, is a Canadian pediatrician, a renowned breastfeeding expert and an inspirational speaker at conferences around the world. His Breastfeeding Clinic, the International Breastfeeding Centre, in Toronto has been using novel and successful methods to help mothers succeed in their desire to make breastfeeding joyful, pain free and relaxing. Dr Newman's website www.ibconline.ca provides free access to breastfeeding videos, information sheets and blogs in several languages.

Dr Newman has travelled the world, seen how breastfeeding works in Asia, Africa and South America. He has worked in Africa and Central America. He has been a consultant for UNICEF and the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative, having evaluated the first baby friendly hospitals in Canada, the Ivory Coast and Gabon.
