Bruce Snider is the author of the poetry collections BLOOD HARMONY (University of Wisconsin Press), FRUIT (University of Wisconsin Press), PARADISE, INDIANA (Pleiades/LSU Press), and THE YEAR WE STUDIED WOMEN (University of Wisconsin Press). He is co-editor, with the poet Shara Lessley, of THE POEM'S COUNTRY PLACE AND POETIC PRACTICE (Pleiades Press). His poems and essays have appeared or are forthcoming in the AMERICAN POETRY REVIEW, NEW ENGLAND REVIEW, POETRY, THREEPENNY REVIEW, UTNE, and BEST AMERICAN POETRY, among others. He lives in Baltimore and teaches in The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins.
