Lara Tupper

Lara Tupper is the author of four works of fiction: At the Center (forthcoming in 2027), Amphibians (Leapfrog Global Fiction Award), Off Island (finalist, Housatonic Book Award), and A Thousand and One Nights. Her work has been widely anthologized; her prose has been featured in The Believer, Epiphany, The B (Berkshires) Magazine and other literary spaces. She has performed around the world as a jazz/folk vocalist, taught at Rutgers University, and is founder of Swift Ink Stories (writing workshops and book coaching). She is at work on a memoir/biography about her father, former Congressman Stanley Tupper, Sr. Born in Maine, she now writes, sings, and raises hens in Western Massachusetts.
