Jamie Purviance

Jamie Purviance is a world-renown grilling expert with a special knack for teaching anyone how to do it better. After graduating from Stanford University, he taught writing in California and then Indonesia. It was in Southeast Asia that his obsession with outdoor cooking took hold, compelling him to enroll in the Culinary Institute of America, where he graduated with high honors. From there he launched a food writing career that has included countless magazine articles and television appearances, as wells as multiple New York Times best-selling cookbooks and a James Beard Award nomination.
