Nancy Van Note Chism

Nancy Van Note Chism is Professor Emerita of Higher Education Administration at Indiana University and was Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at IUPUI. Previously, she directed the teaching and learning center at The Ohio State University. Her books and academic publications deal with college teaching and learning, professional and organizational development, and the academic profession. In retirement, she has written about Boniface Hardin, the founder of Martin University, the only primarily black institution in Indiana.
