It is available in print, digital and audio (in a full-cast production featuring 50 voice actors performing the Dale sailors' firsthand accounts).
• Publishers Weekly Starred Review: "An impressive accomplishment."
• The U.S. Navy Institute: "...the narratives are effectively interwoven...a highly personal and compelling story...and a fine companion to Hornfischer's Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors and Calhoun's Tin Can Sailor...an authentic narrative of the daily life of these heroic men – iron men in ships of tin."
• William L. McGee, author, The Solomons Campaigns: "Tales From a Tin Can is one of the best books I've read on Tin Can history – one hell of a read and difficult to put down."
